Red ombre. Zauberball. First one done in just a day. How long will the second stock take? 😜

Tedama bag (in progress)
This bag is knitted in sock-weight yarn, CO 35 stitches, a slight deviation from the original pattern. Also, these panels are shorter than the written pattern in order to make a shallow finished bag.
The pink yarn was dyed by me using Wilton dye, which is apparently NOT light-fast. 😐 Of code I only figured that out AFTER I left the project in the car in the sun. Hmmm.
Anyway, I'm currently knitting the fourth panel, then I'll stitch it together & finish the bag. 😀

Sock progress
Fish lips kiss heel. Method. It's a new (to me) way to work a short-row heel. Very easy & pretty, too.

More pooling
This was my 1st attempt at the fish kiss sock heel. A great success. There is pooling in this colorway, but the colors are muted, and it doesn't seem to look bad (to me).

Estonian lace shawl
With nupps & all! This is 4 of the 24-row repeat of 12 total for the shawl. Then the edging is knit in 2 pieces & sewn in place.
It'll look less lumpy once it's blocked.

My newest project
It's my very first Estonian Lace shawl. With nupps and the traditional sewn-on edging. This is the 1st of twelve 24-row repeats.

Knitting Lab
Experiment #1
The stripes are spiraling a little, but no unsightly pooling. Yay!
Planning to go ahead & make a sock out of this experiment. With a short-row heel on 60% of the stitches (38sts in this example).
The stockinette stitch may change my color pattern. But I'm going to use the 'other' end of the yarn so as not to disturb the color pattern. For the heel. The experiment continues...😎
NO more pooling!
My 1st experiment with Laura Bryant's magic number method of knitting with hand-dyed yarns is going very well indeed. 😋
I'm knitting a sock of ⅔ my magic number.
Yesterday was day 1 of knitting lab. I definitely want to repeat this experiment with previously pooled yarn in my stash!

Purse panel #3
Difficult to make out bc of the dark-colored yarn, but I have the 1st one blocked, the 2nd one ready to block & #3 in progress. Need to make 5 panels total, then sew them together, like a box.

Oopsie!
Don't know what happened to my pictures from before. I'd deleted them from my phone, but thought they'd be saved on my blog. Oh well. Next time I'll know before I push delete too many times.
A new project for a new year
As if I don't have enough UFO's! This is Tosh. From 101 sock yarn one-skein wonders. I'm not going off piecing, so I'm knitting 4-at-once in the round. Do that's only 5 panels to make.
This is panel #1. Just started this project today bc I'm stuck in the house due to my car being broken... Again. Well, at least I have a car.
So, the pattern calls for size 1.5 needles. I used size 2 last time and ran out of yarn. This time I think these needles are size 1. And it's going to be a much smaller bag. Which is OK.
Going to have fun choosing fabric for the lining. But first things first! Must finish the knitting. Back to work.
